I can’t say enough good things about strength training with Dan! Although I considered a generic personal trainer at the local gym, I’m so glad that I chose Fast Track instead. Starting with a functional movement and strength screen, Dan designed a tailored program targeting my weaknesses and instabilities (hello glutes!). I’m finally learning and strengthening the correct movement patterns for sports and life. This kind of training should be mandatory for every desk-bound adult and weekend athlete. How Dan always seems to be looking when my form slips is beyond me. My only regret is not starting sooner!
Fast Track has made a huge positive difference in my health and helped me get back on the field quickly! Meg and the whole team at Fast Track see me as a whole, helping me to recover from sports related injuries – be it from running, skiing, biking, or even softball mishap. The folks at Fast Track do not just consider the point of injury but take a systems approach recommending therapies that make me stronger than when I came in. Most recently I tore the meniscus in my knee. Meg supported my goal of building my knee and related systems back into shape for the Shenandoah Mountain 100 mile mountain bike race and sure enough we did it! When progress slowed at one point Meg took a step back and found a foot injury from years back that was blocking progress. With new exercises progress accelerated truly putting me on the fast track back to my 100 mile mountain adventure!
I owe many thanks to Michael for helping me. I really cannot thank you enough. This is just a little bump in the road with my back, but we are setting it straight! 🙂 Thanks for all that you do! I just have to share that it took me an hour to drive home tonight, and for the first time since I can remember, I got out of the car without feeling stiffness or pain somewhere in my body. It was truly amazing! I was expecting my usual aches and pains that take a few minutes to walk off, but they just weren’t there. It’s incredible! I can’t wait to see more improvement. Thank you a million times over! You are healing bodies and minds! I am working out again and feeling better than I have in years, thanks to Michael and Fast Track. Thank you and God bless you for being a PT!
Runners – like cars with high mileage – require both breakdown repair and preventative maintenance. Fast Track fitness is outstanding at providing both. Kerri and her team have helped me recover from debilitating Achilles tendinitis and have fixed my running form to reduce the likelihood of future injury. Their philosophy is to get you back on the road as quickly and as safely as possible. That is why I always recommend Fast Track to the runners I coach.
Greetings from Hawaii! I PRed by 24 minutes and 27 seconds!!! Final time 5:02:54. I was so close to breaking 5 and thought I was gong to do it, but there was a very steep, long hill around Diamond Head (the Volcano on the island) in the last three miles. Just couldn’t do it. I did a 9-1 run-walk and maintained a run pace of about 10.35 and averaged 11ish/mile until the last few miles. All in all, HUGE PR and an amazing race!!!! The best part – I have NO BACK PAIN this morning! I mean, I have mid-back muscular pain, but not the low back and hip pain like before. Yippee! All thanks to my wonderful PT’s at Fast Track, which, as you know, I avoided for many, many years. Thank you for convincing me to finally do PT!
I’ve been going to Fast Track since 2015 for physical therapy and massage. Kerri and crew deeply understand the demands of endurance sports and work tirelessly to get athletes not just on their feet, but thriving in competition. I came in with knee conditions that prevented me from running at all. Meg not only worked to help fix my knee, but did a complete run analysis that changed my stride. I re-learned how to run without pain. We also worked on key strength work. I went on to complete multiple long course triathlons.
This is me after I completed the XTERRA world championship in Maui, HI. The Fast Track physical therapy department is awesome especially Meg. My dream for a very long time was to participate in the off road triathlon world championships, but injuries kept getting in my way. Thanks to the superb care I received at Fast Track Physical Therapy especially the personalized plan Meg developed for me, I was able to compete in the XTERRA off road triathlon world championship in Maui, HI. I just can’t recommend Fast Track enough – they will get you back on track no matter your ailment so you, too, can achieve your goals and dream
When I walk into Fast Track, it feels like home. The kind of home that makes you feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for. Over the last 8 years, I competed in 3 Ironman races and had 2 major MS relapses. Fast Track therapists have nurtured me through 2 shoulder injuries, chronic back and hip pain – the typical sport-related stuff – and “rebuilt” my strength after my 2 major lapses. Its’s really tough to go from feeling like you are on the top of the world in IM shape to having to sit down while you cook breakfast. Quite literally. In all of those phases of me, the fine professionals at Fast Track work together to get me through it. Every time I walk in their facility I come out stronger. Every time.
I am so thankful to have met Kerri and the Fast Track Physical Therapy team. They have helped me recover from my extensive running injuries (5 stress fractures, 2 sports hernias, 3 inguinal hernias, and a shoulder injury) in record time and have made me a stronger and more complete endurance athlete.
